The Friendship Force of Adelaide was formed in June, 1984. The club draws its members from the city and surrounding suburbs, and has a membership of approximately 100.
Adelaide is the capital city of South Australia with a population of just over 1 million people. It is situated on coastal plains and surrounding hills.
The Adelaide Friendship Force Club waited with great anticipation for the Missoula Montana Exchange to begin. With typical autumn weather here in Adelaide we enjoyed mid-late 20 degree and early 30 degree weather for the week which was wonderful. What a wonderful group of people Missoula brought to our Club.
With some uncertainties about the number of ambassadors from Peru, eventually 19 ambassadors from Lake Hartwell and 11 ambassadors from La Libertad arrived on Monday 14 March 2011
The Adelaide Friendship Force Club decided to make the Australian National Conference an even more fun experience by hiring a bus and travelling the 2651km over 6 days with our favourite bus driver/chef and travel guide, Flick.
